Wy'east Book Shoppe and Art Gallery displays a wide selection of books and beautiful local art work. Our changing art exhibits feature watercolors, oil paintings, acrylics, ceramics, art glass, sculpture, jewelry and photography. Realistic and interpretive landscapes, florals, animals, and birds predominate.

Our fine book shoppe has an excellent selection of current best selling reading material for both children and adults. We also stock published regional authors.

Our gallery location is on Highway 26 at Milepost 40 in Welches, Oregon at the base of Mt. Hood. Link to map.

Highway 26 is the main route from Portland to central Oregon. The junction north to Hood River, The Dalles, the Columbia River, the Columbia Gorge and east to Bend and Sisters is less than one half hour away.

Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, Government Camp and Ski Bowl are just minutes away.
